Meet The Author

Hello I’m Whitney Weidner

Marie is a Colorado native who spent her early years near Castle Rock, Colorado. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Metropolitan State College of Denver (now Metropolitan State University of Denver) in just three years during the early 2000s.

With a wide range of interests, Marie has held a variety of positions throughout her career, including working as a legal clerk at a collection agency and as a loan processor at a local financial institution. Along the way, she has enjoyed the opportunity to gain diverse professional experiences while helping others achieve their personal and financial goals.

Nearly 20 years ago, Marie married her best friend and high school sweetheart, and together they made their home in Aurora, Colorado. They are the proud parents of two wonderful children.

One constant throughout Marie's life has been her deep love of books and reading. Rarely reading just one book at a time, she has always dreamed of one day having her own private library. That lifelong passion for literature inspired her to begin creating stories of her own, with the hope of captivating readers just as countless authors have captivated her over the years.

Publishing her own stories is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. Marie believes everyone deserves a little wonder, a little companionship, and, most of all, a little humor in their lives. She hopes you enjoy following the adventures of Barry and Hugo as they journey through their wondrous world, discovering valuable lessons and unforgettable experiences along the way.
